We have a fantastic teaching program for new curlers here at the Madison Curling Club, including certified instructors who have won national awards from the United States Curling Association. We take on many new members every year who have never curled before, and we help them to find their niche in this unique and enjoyable sport. Whether you're here to have fun and relax or to find a competitive outlet, we've got you covered.
You're invited! Join us before the new curling season begins for one of our instructional curling events. We'll introduce you the sport and include time for you to get on the ice and try it yourself!
Curling lessons provide a great taster to the sport with an introduction to the basics and information on how the game is played. Many sessions are free and last approximately one hour.
Participating in an actual game is only part of the fun at the Madison Curling Club. The camaraderie and social aspects of the game area almost as important as the curling itself.
Whether it is bonspieling at other clubs or socializing after a game at our club, you meet life-long friends in a curling club.
Our multipurpose, six sheet facility was constructed at William McFarland Park in McFarland, WI. The club's relationship with the Village of McFarland has been a positive experience. Together the Madison Curling Club and the Village of McFarland will make it possible for generations to enjoy the game and foster the spirit of the "grand old game" of curling.
As we mark our 12th anniversary in our current facility, it is hoped that new club members will gain an appreciation for the vision and financial support of the past members. In turn their support of the Madison Curling Club will enable others to enjoy the experience of curling into the next millennium.
